NexiTech selected for National Archives project

Posted on 2005-Sep-08

Two U.S. Government Services Administration (GSA) contractors have chosen NexiTech to be a provider of storage-related goods and services to the National Archives. Precise details of the project are classified, but key components of NexiTech Virtual Tape and ASPI Emulation products were used in the construction of a solution that enables large arrays of legacy tape drives to be interconnected with network-attached disk storage and served up to multiple users in a client-server architecture.

According to Chris Muller, owner of Muller Media Conversions, “NexiTech's ASPI and iSCSI support have enabled us to expand the variety of platforms and architectures under which our software can operate.  Their skill and flexibility open new market possibilities for us and make dealing with NexiTech a pleasure.”
